Focus on: Review of season 2012-2013

  The season for the major football leagues is over. All of the clubs will make a review of what they have achieved and at what point they should direct for the next season. We think that it is a time for our promised review of the rubric "Focus on". We have just managed to write only two articles in the rubric, but as we have already declared in the first article of it, we will post a complete review once the season is over. So the time has come.

Definition

  As the name speaks by itself, a goalkeeper is a player who keeps the goal. Positioned in the penalty area, the job of the football goalkeeper is to prevent the opposition players from scoring. He is the only player on the field allowed to use his hands (only in penalty area). Other main duties of the goalkeeper are to organize the defense.

Focus on

  My first rubric will be called "Focus on". As the name speaks by itself, it will be series of articles about an interesting player. The articles will have useful information about the player, some already known information and rating, evaluated by original formula created by AnalyzeFootball. 

  I think that these articles will be something like a scout base and useful analysis of player’s game. Of course I will write only about the top attracting players, which I think will be top addition to the best leagues. My plans are to write about one or two articles a month. May be at the end of the football calendar (of course for top leagues in Europe) I will write an analysis on the chosen players and will evaluate overall performance rating.
